On 25th January a meeting of the Project Board of LIFE Steppe on border project was held in Divoká Voda, Čunovo, Slovakia. The venue is situated near the border of project countries as well as in the vicinity of project area. 16 representatives of 7 project beneficiaries and 1 of 2 project co-financiers participated.
The project is implemented since February 2022 until April 2027. Overall progress of the project was introduced by the coordinating beneficiary at the beginning of the meeting. After that, each of the beneficiaries introduced actions implemented and results achieved, together with plan for the next period. Focus was given to restoration of the land, installation of nest boxes, plantation of trees, PR activities, including creating new zones and elements of tourist infrastructure for visitors.
